Packing up someone else's life

You never know what to expect when you step through the doors of someone's home, from minimalists to hoarders and everything in between. We help pack up people's lives and sort through belongings they've spent a lifetime acquiring. Some items purchased on a whim, others deeply emotional inheritances full of memories. Each one a unique piece of the person leaving it behind. It's like a puzzle, and each item is a piece belonging to the bigger picture of a life well lived.

Ideally, we prefer it when family and close friends have had a chance to go through belongings to claim any items of sentimental value. But we sometimes encounter scenarios where someone has lived in one place all of their adult life and now has to leave because of the onset of dementia, failing health, or the death of a spouse. They are reluctant to part with anything because they have already lost so much. These parents and grandparents have lived through times of scarcity and often can't bring themselves to throw anything out. It has to be kept, just in case. These situations are extremely difficult for everyone involved, and we always strive to provide compassionate support as we work our way through a lifetime of belongings to ensure everything finds its rightful place.
