Junk Removal / Labourer

Local Group Industries. Part-time moving to full-time, company vehicle, growth opportunity. You must be customer-service oriented for this role: you will interact directly with clients, often in stressful situations, so professionalism, respect, and communication matter just as much as the physical work.

The role, straight up

We're hiring a reliable, hard-working labourer to handle junk removal, property cleanouts, and heavy lifting jobs across the Lower Mainland. This is hands-on, physical work: moving, loading, hauling, and cleaning out homes, apartments, and job sites. Although the main job is junk removal, it could also include biohazard and trauma cleanup, so professionalism and the right mindset matter.

What you'll be doing

• Junk removal (furniture, debris, household items, job site waste).
• Property cleanouts (moves, evictions, hoarding situations).
• Loading and unloading trucks efficiently.
• Driving a 1-ton dump truck to and from job sites.
• Basic cleaning and site prep after removals.
• Interacting with customers on site in a respectful, professional way.
• Occasionally: biohazard and trauma cleanup, and deep cleaning in sensitive environments.

What we're looking for

• Customer-first mindset (this is critical).
• Strong work ethic: shows up, works hard, no drama.
• Physically capable and comfortable lifting heavy items.
• Comfortable driving a 1-ton dump truck, with a clean driving record.
• Takes direction well and works efficiently.
• Good attitude with team and customers, and comfortable getting your hands dirty.
• Junk removal, moving, labour, construction, demolition, or cleaning and restoration experience is an asset.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license.
• Clean driving record (required).
• Ability to confidently drive a 1-ton dump truck.
